During the second and third term, most 3rd ESO students have been engaged in an European project called “English and Minority Languages”. The main objective of this project was to make students improve their writing skills by writing to other students from different countries (Italy, Turkey and Greece).
The activities were the following: they had to introduce themselves to their partners and teach some vocabulary and cultural aspects from their mother tongues. Thanks to this project, all students' languages are given importance and some of them have also learned some words from Greek and Italian.
At the end of course, all the students who have participated in this Etwinning project have been awarded with a certificate. All in all, we hope that the project was motivating and that they have used English in a meaningful way.
