Friday in Jyväskylä, a very snowy day but not so chilly. Students started their school day attending classes in our partner’s high school. We were taught some easy phrases to be understood in casual situations and some characteristics of the Finnish language by our host teacher, Pirjo Väli-Torala.
Then all the students together worked on their project finishing their tasks (a campaign motivating students to recycle properly and a video to reduce food waste in school) and they gave presentations showing their final products.
We were also taught ice hockey 
rules, which is their national sport, by one of the Finnish students and the host teacher, Jarkko Helin.
After having some free time downtown and buying some souvenirs, we met in a restaurant for our last meal together.
Finally, we went to enjoy an amazing ice hockey match to cheer JYP team Up. Unfortunately, they lost against Tanppara, 1-4.
A day full of experiences and work but with a great reward at the end!!!
